Out of B.C.'s 40,000 public school teachers, 21,044 cast ballots. Ultimately 75.3 per cent ratified the agreement. Let’s do the math :-)
21,044 out of 40,00 = only 52.61% of teachers actually voted
75.3% of 21,0441 = 15,846 voted in favour
So only 39.6% of BC Teachers actually voted in favour of the contract agreement
------I wonder if the teachers who didn’t vote for ratification will feel obligated to participate in the agreement.......no concessions and better benefits :-)
